The first few minutes of Uwe Boll's Postal!

Posted by Jason Triplett Sunday, September 09, 2007

Just in time for 9/11, we bring you fotage from Uwe Boll's Postal, a film that slaps 9/11 in the face once and for good! I really don't know what to think of this film. Is it genius? Is it trash? Is it both?

Uwe Boll goes all Troma on us with his vision of the video game Postal. I mean I seriously can't be the only one getting Kaufman vibes from this. At any rate, this is gonna be a love it or hate it film.

A quick browse of some of the comments on IMDB show that people who have already seen the film loved it...but I wonder if the hyper-sensitive American crowd can take it. Watch the first few minutes and see for yourself.

Also, for your viewing pleasure, we bring you one of Uwe Boll's boxing matches against his critics. It should be mentioned that Uwe Boll won every match.

And for those that haven't seen it yet, the official red band trailer from Postal!

Go blow yourself you idiot from another country! Enjoy all the things that the USA brings to the ingrates in the world.

Almost all entertainment that is even slightly worthwhile generates from the USA, only you idiots who are not from here seem to forget. Do me a favor and do not get too "hyper-sensitive" to my comments, unless you are an american

Dude, chill. America isn't the only country to produce good entertainment. I've seen German and Brittish good stuff. Also, the American crowd IS A BIT sensitive, and the trailer makes fun of it.

Going to be hilarious. The opening sequence had me giggiling for a while.

You know, I feel for the thousands of people who lost their lives as well; I'm not even American, but the second I turned on the tv and saw the second plane hit, I was in a state of shock.

But I can still laugh because things like this have been going on for years. We can make fun of other cultures or races, or people who like the same sex. That's ok for people to make fun of. But when it comes to our own trials and errors, well it's strictly taboo.

It wasn't exactly insulting (though I can understand how some will get offended), it wasn't exactly funny or even original. I really didn't laugh not because I was offended but because it wasn't particularly funny. Satire this is may be, but it's almost painfully unfunny. The jokes seem almost forced. Well, those are my two cents.

This film needs to be released, it looks hilarious. It looks to be the finest video game to movie translation ever produced. It also looks to stay true to the spirit of the game. It's a shame that Running With Scissors didn't kind of get a plug in the trailer.
